The year 2014 marked Pfrogdog’s twenty years existence as a band that never really broke up but still lingers. When real friends create art together you don’t break up/divorce, you just let life take its twists and turns. When the time is right, paths will cross. Pfrogdog released it’s debut album, 1994, in September 2014 on Japanese Passport Records to mark the promise made to each other 5 years before. Pfrogdog played a Twentieth Anniversary show to friends to help celebrate this release.

In January of 2015, We are Not Eskimos Records, based out of Hamburg, Germany, invited Pfrogdog to join their family. They will promote and distribute 1994. The members of Pfrogdog are also going to be closer to each other geographically in 2015 and plan to write and record new music.

Pfrogdog was formed in early 1994 by four friends who were influenced by the late 80’s, early 90’s independent music that had overtaken mainstream radio by the time of Pfrogdog’s formation.
